ClayQueeries is a joyful meditation exploring color, form, and space through functional pottery. Each piece contemplates the sacred and looks for opportunities to create new rituals that give our life meaning.

I am, because I create.

I am Aram Guzman, a queer, formerly undocumented designer born in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I studied philosophy and architecture and believe deeply that we can heal and achieve liberation through creative expression. I founded ClayQueeries in 2018 as a queer-led ceramic practice rooted in spiritual inquiry and personal liberation.

Every piece in the ClayQueeries collection is handmade by me in my Los Angeles studio. I am passionate about resourcefulness, working with intention to use, reuse, and recycle clay and glazes wherever possible. Each object is crafted with care and purpose, rooted in tradition and a poetic cosmology that finds meaning in the everyday.

ClayQueeries is an invitation to create meaning through form. It is a practice of becoming, a spiritual offering grounded in queer identity and lived experience.
